Barbell Board Press
Lie flat on a bench with a board placed on your chest and grip the barbell slightly wider than shoulder width. Unrack the bar and lower it under control until it touches the board, then press it back to lockout. The board shortens the range of motion so you can overload the top half of the press and build lockout strength. Keep your shoulder blades retracted, feet planted, and elbows tucked at roughly forty-five degrees.
