Horizontal Unilateral Leg Press
Sit on a horizontal (seated) leg press machine with your back flat against the pad. Place one foot centered on the platform with the other leg resting on the floor or off to the side. Release the safeties and lower the weight by bending your knee until your thigh is close to your chest, keeping the heel flat. Drive through the heel and mid-foot to extend the leg without locking the knee, then return under control. Complete all reps on one side before switching.
