Weighted Dips

Weighted Dips

Add load using a dip belt or a dumbbell held between the feet, then support yourself at the top of parallel bars with arms locked out. Lower your body by bending the elbows until your shoulders drop to about elbow height, leaning the torso slightly forward to bias the chest. Press back up powerfully to full lockout without letting the elbows flare excessively. Keep your core braced and shoulders down so the added weight builds pressing strength in the chest and triceps.
