Smith Machine Standing Calf Raise

Place a small plate or block under the front of a Smith machine. Set the bar at shoulder height and step under it with the balls of your feet on the plate and heels hanging off. Unrack the bar across your upper traps. Press up onto your toes as high as possible, squeeze the calves, then lower slowly until you feel a deep stretch.
