Up-to-date comparison between Kaizer and Trainerize: pricing, language, adaptive AI, LATAM billing, client experience and support. Built to help you decide, not to sell.
Kaizer and Trainerize are both coaching platforms. Trainerize is the historical English-language leader (Canada, 12+ years on the market, 100K+ coaches) and works very well if your client base is 100% in the US/UK/AU/CA and you only coach in English. Kaizer is the choice if you want the plan to re-program itself: it automatically adjusts weights and reps after every workout the client logs (Trainerize generates the routine once and never touches it again). On top of that, prices are shown in USD and charged in pesos, and the product works perfectly in Spanish. The AI is optional — turn it off anytime; you keep the final say.

Trainerize also ships an integrated habit-tracking and nutrition stack — things Kaizer keeps out of scope to focus on training programming. If you want automatic load adaptation after every session — or you coach in Spanish and bill in local currency — Kaizer is the right call.

We handle the migration for you, in under 48 hours: clients, routines and history. No CSV exports, nothing to upload by hand. Zero downtime for your clients.
No. Trainerize has a feature to generate initial routines with AI (Trainerize AI), but the routines are static: once created, they don't change based on real client performance unless the coach manually edits them. Kaizer recalculates each client's estimated 1RM after every workout they log (using sets, reps and RIR) and updates the target weights and reps of upcoming sessions; the coach can let it run unattended or keep it as a suggestion.
Trainerize starts around USD $9–$11/month for up to 5 clients and scales by client count, with Custom Branding adding significant cost. Kaizer has a Free plan up to 3 clients, then Starter / Pro / Unlimited with the adaptive AI included on all paid tiers. Current pricing on kaizer.app/en/pricing.
Today Kaizer is focused on personal trainers. The gym model — multi-coach dashboard, multi-location and MAU-based pricing — is on our roadmap, not available yet. Trainerize is likewise built for individual trainers: it has a Studio plan for small teams but it isn't a B2B2C product designed for gyms with memberships, multi-location and chain dashboards.
Trainerize offers chat and email support, mostly in English. The product is partially translated to Spanish but not native. LATAM-hours support is limited. Kaizer responds fast in your hours, and the whole product and support work perfectly in Spanish.
Yes — and you don't do it alone: our team handles the entire migration for you in under 48 hours. You book a 15-minute call, give us access to your current tool, and we migrate clients, routines and history. Then you review and publish. No spreadsheet exports, nothing loaded by hand.
If your client base is 100% US and you work only in English, Trainerize is a reasonable choice given product maturity and native integrations with Garmin / MyFitnessPal / Apple Health. Kaizer is clearly better if you want automatic post-session weight and rep updates instead of static templates — and it helps if you coach in Spanish or bill in local currencies.
The Kaizer app: a polished, native experience for your clients — without paying for a branding add-on like Trainerize.me Custom Branding (which is expensive on Trainerize). The focus is on your clients training comfortably and you programming fast, not on standing up a separate app.
