Entrenamiento en el gimnasio con Kaizer

From Excel to Kaizer

You upload the spreadsheet you already have, your clients join with a link, and the plan carries on where it was.

Short answer.

Moving from Excel to Kaizer starts by uploading the spreadsheet you already use: Kaizer reads the exercises, sets and loads, and turns them into an editable routine. It accepts XLSX, CSV, PDF, Word, text and even a photo, up to 500 KB. From there your clients train in the Kaizer app and log every set themselves, so the part you update by hand today stops existing. Over 1,200 trainers across more than 20 countries already work this way.

When the spreadsheet stopped being enough.

  1. You update the same spreadsheet several times a week just to keep track of loads.

  2. You send the routine over WhatsApp and never know if it was opened, done, or at what weight.

  3. You have one spreadsheet per client and no longer remember which is the good version.

  4. Changing a progression means editing cell by cell across several files.

  5. You know who owes you from memory, or by scrolling your bank history.

What replaces what.

  1. The routine spreadsheet

Upload the file and Kaizer builds the routine. XLSX, CSV, PDF, Word, text and photos, up to 500 KB.

  2. The load column you update by hand

Weights and reps adjust after every session the client logs, using estimated 1RM on NSCA tables.

  3. The PDF you send over WhatsApp

Your clients train in the Kaizer app, with a video per exercise, timers and set logging.

  4. The tracking tab

Adherence, sessions and PRs record themselves, trended against the previous period.

  5. The payments spreadsheet

A charge per client with its state and its reminder. You still collect the money outside.

  6. The who-needs-attention list

Per-client alerts with the next step one click away, instead of reading the sheet row by row.

Questions about moving from Excel to Kaizer

XLSX, CSV, PDF, DOCX, TXT and images (JPEG, PNG, WEBP), up to 500 KB per file. The legacy .xls and .doc formats are left out on purpose: if your spreadsheet is one of those, save it as XLSX first. A photo of a handwritten routine works too.

It reads the exercises, sets, reps and loads, and builds an editable routine from them. It does not guess: whatever comes out odd you fix in the editor before assigning, which is faster than typing forty exercises by hand. The tidier the spreadsheet, the fewer fixes it needs.

No. Most people start with the clients beginning a new block and move the rest as they renew. Routines you have already uploaded stay as reusable templates, so the second time you need that same plan you upload nothing.

With an invite link. They download the Kaizer app (iOS and Android), land in your roster and see the routine you assigned, with a video per exercise and timers. From there they log every set, and that is what feeds the load adjustment and the metrics.

The Free plan covers up to 3 clients and does not expire. Starter is USD 19/month up to 15 clients, Pro USD 49/month up to 50 and Unlimited USD 149/month up to 500, with an annual discount and local pricing per country. To try the import with a real routine, Free is enough.

Yes, nothing forces you to drop it. Plenty of trainers keep their business-numbers spreadsheet and move only programming and tracking to Kaizer, which is where the spreadsheet costs the most work. If you want the rest inside later, it is already there.
