Standing Hip Circles
Stand tall with your feet hip-width apart and place your hands on your hips for balance. Lift one knee toward your chest, then draw a large circle with the knee by carrying it out to the side and back down. Move slowly through the fullest range your hip allows, keeping your torso upright and your standing leg steady. Complete the reps on one side, then repeat with the other leg to open up the hips before training.
